Vinyl Siding is plastic exterior cladding for a building, used for decoration and weatherproofing. It is an engineered product, manufactured primarily from polyvinyl chloride or PVC. It is the number one siding material available nationwide and is virtually impervious to rain, cold, salt and snow. Vinyl siding requires far less maintenance than other exterior building materials. To keep it looking like new, simply hose it down once a year.
Fiber-Cement Siding is made from a combination of cellulose fiber, cement, and sand. Fiber-cement is available in pre-painted panels that are fire-resistant, termite-proof and low-maintenance. Warranties can extend up to 50 years because of durability.
Engineered Wood Siding
Engineered Wood Siding is made using wood products (such as sawdust, wood flakes, etc.) combined with bonding agents. The results offer a lightweight product that is very strong and still less expensive than natural wood. Engineered wood siding has a high level of quality, resisting shrinking, crowning, twisting, and warping. They offer the look of traditional wood but provide more uniformity because there are no imperfections in grain and texture.
Steel Siding is made of rigid steel panels. It is incredibly durable in areas of severe cold, as well as places that receive hail. Steel panels deliver high dimensional stability that resist buckling and the wavy appearance that can result from expansion and contraction caused by extreme weather changes. Steel siding will also subtly conceal flaws in the exterior's substructure, keeping wall lines exceptionally smooth and straight.
